Who we are and what we do

Topsoe has a vision for the company to be recognized as the world leader in carbon reducing technologies by 2024 and we have come far on the path of achieving this. Topsoe solutions accelerate a sustainable energy transition; As one of very few companies, we have deep insight in both green hydrogen from renewable electricity and in how to produce green fuels and chemicals from that hydrogen. Our solutions produce green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and other e-fuels. Together they are the most promising fuels and chemicals of the future, and we have a clear goal to help the world succeed in the green transition. Topsoe had a mission for 2022 to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of our customers by 15 million tons CO2e per year and that target was met with margin. Topsoe also has a commitment to reach net zero emissions for our own operations and we are working adamantly on this within our factories as well as with our supply chain and clients

Working as a PhD at Haldor Topsøe

As a PhD candidate at Topsoe you take actively part of a project team to address urgent critical industrial challenges within the green energy transition which require a deeper fundamental understanding to succeed. The current research areas include solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOEC), battery materials or catalysis. Thus, a very dynamic environment must be expected.
